How long shall it take to receive it back from VO New delhi.....

Reply appreciated...

thr are plenty of people waiting those who sent pp in jan feb 2012. if ur lucky u get in 30 days or else 2 months minimum

medical line appeared today on 30 april12 just after 6 days of receiving medicals. is med line appearance means medicals are ok. pl tell. dr bhatia

It means your medical has not only been rcvd...but it has also been approved Enjoy!

Kindly elaborate this line. How did you arrive at this? It will mean a lot for us who have been waiting to hear from NDVO after meds.

It is india speed post service. Normally takes 2 days after despatch. No tracking system without reference no.(which vo doesn't provide).
Check with ur local post office.

Is it "speed post" or "registered post"?

Unfortunately, my internet was down from last 4 days, and i was unable to get online at all. I am at office today, and am back online.

Well, by the Grace of Lord Shiva, i got my passports back yesterday, with Canadian Visa on it.

I would particularly like to thank everyone in this forum, who were there at all times with me... helping me in understanding the process, giving me more confidence when needed, and specially people like Saahil and Abhishek Goel, who call me even now to comfort me and discuss a lot of things.

For the benifit of all, my timelines are as follows:

FSW1, Code - 7216

Application sent to Sydney on 10-Nov-11
Processing Fees DD encashed on 17-Jan-12
PER mail received on 1-Feb-12
Documents transferred to NDVO on 21-Feb-12
Request for MR, RPRF, PCC, Passports on 5-Mar-12
Medicals sent by DMP on 13-Mar-12
Medicals copy, PCC, Passports, RPRF sent by me on 20-Mar-12
'Medicals Received' line updated on 25-Apr-12
DM updated on 28-Apr-12
Canadian Address updated on 30-Apr-12
Passport at home on 1-May-12

Congrats to all who have received their Passports and DM Status.
I'm also waiting anxiously.
Btw to track your mail with pp's and docs from CHC, i suggest keeping your local postman in the loop and if your in Delhi then you can also visit the speedpost office.

I read in another thread that you have created, that you have been on DM Status since 29th March but in your profile info under your forum user name you have mentioned "waiting with DM since 29th April".

Which is the correct date? Kindly rectify.

I can imagine you making a typo...with what you are going thru. Hats off to you for hanging in there and taking your situation head on!! Don't mind this but you were our topic of conversation this evening (my hubby and I) and we were full of appreciation for your level headedness and conviction!

Waiting to hear good news from you. Waiting with you to see those maple leaves on your passport. I think it's on it's way....in an India Post office somewhere

Yes it is a full on head on situation over here. I'm a young guy still in his 20's so i do have time. But time stops after DM and i'm sure there are a very few people who happily bear this wait at such a late stage. As they say 'Aar ya paar kuch to ho par jo be ho jaldi ho'.

I'm sure i'm safe but my mind keeps wondering. have they lost it in the mail? have they misplaced some of my docs and are holding back to cover themselves up? and so and so..........

Until then i'm watching 'The trailer park boys' and 'Corner gas' All seasons marathon and anyone else in my situation should also do that. They will learn so much about Canadian pop culture and stereotypes. And of-course how can we miss Russell peters............
