finally...............I have also received my passports back with maple leaf............barely few minutes ago

thanks to all the forum members for their support

yoshi, i think our files have assessed by same visa officer as file transfer date of you and mine file is same i.e. 10-3-2010. My ECAS decision is still "in process". Visa issue date is 14-6-2011.

Hope all the members who are waiting for their decision will get their maple leaf soon.

thats a wonderful surprise. I cannot enough say this how unreliable the ECAS is. But sadly, ECAS is the only way to track the status of our application. Thousands of people log on to ECAS to know their progress of the application. However, we have to deal with disappointment every day. I hope there was a better way to track our applications.

Have a happy life ahead. When are you planning to land btw?

ECR usually stops you from flying to middle east and some European countries....but yes always a good idea to get it canceled and get a ECNR stamp.....just go with your degree fill the misc form and get it done in a day....

ECR stamp is something of the very old days. Now a days Passport Office does not even stamp any ECR/ECNR, only if you don't qualify for ECNR, then they stamp the ECR (which is very rare, since their are many ways to qualify for ECNR). However if you are a graduate or a tax payer, all you need to do is give a copy of this proof & they will remove the ECR from your Passport. I would advise to get this done, since it takes only a day & avoids any trouble at Airport Immigration.

Send a Case specific inquiry or a mail to NDVO. However I would suggest, wait some more time, it's not that late yet.

I am eagerly waiting for a good news from you. Hope D'day to you will come very shortly.

I received invoice from CAIPS.CA yesterday and could not deposit the money due to busy schedule. I supposed to deposit $40 today but around !2 o'clock i attend first doorbell.............this was blank, Second doorbell took by my wife and this time...............POSTMAN WITH MAPLE LEAF.
