16 Months 3 Weeks and 4 Days what it took to bring the smile back to our family.. No doubt to say one of the happiest day of my life..

Guys, My consultant just called me to inform that they have received our PassPorts back with Visa.. Should be on my hand by tomorrow or a day after..

Still can't believe is this true or just another dream!!

There were many hopeless days and sleepless nights.. But between that there was continous support of my family and ofcourse you all forum members, I will never forget in my life how you all people prayed, wished and supported me, especially gav, sandeep, charmi, jassi_cool1980, nsukan and list goes on.. All my friends here Thank you very much for all your support, without your support I might had lost way ago..

This is high time for so many immigrant, I really pray to god all the rest of my friends here get their Visa soon.. As I know how much it hurts to wait..

God Bless all my friends who are not any less than my family..

To be honest I stopped thinking and planning since last few weeks.. So don't have exact idea at this stage, but most probably I would like to travel by month time..

BTW where do you live? and what's your travel plan?

I am planning to land in 1st or 2nd week of August. I am from Delhi andwill be traveling to Calgary. Just consolidating on the to do list. Many things have to be taken care off. I plan to initially go alone, settle and then call my family after 2-3 months.
Am mentioning below some action items, advice.

• Account opening with Scotia bank and funds transfer - A Saturday's job
• Education assessment by Engineers Canada or IQAS - A Saturday's job - processing 2 months
• Degree copies to be sent by university to APEGGA for Engineering License - Two weekdays Off
• International Driving License from Delhi - Done
• Authority Letter from RTO Delhi - A Saturday's job
• Withdrawal of Provident Funds...(most irritating to deal) - Infinite Time Limits
• Travel arrangements- Tickets / Stay

Background check will done before medical request and RPRF , yes more travel history will delay some in your process , thats the security check.

FTH not necessarily delay the process unless the visit is into some controvertial parts of the world.
I had frequent visits to US, South Korea,, and from the tracker you can see that backgroud checks were over in <100 days..
