its very nice to meet u this way...
i am also a dentist who applied for PR in Oct12, 2010 from India (after 1month of ur brother's application) and now waiting for visa to be stamped. Dont know how much time they will take. I already sent my passport to New Delhi in 8April2010. I did my masters from Ohio too.
Now i am seeing ur thread and surprisingly got the info wht am exactly looking for-importing a car, ohio driving record and importantly Visa issuance New Delhi. If all goes well am planning to Windsor. Dont know how it works...

Did you a got a letter from CIC that your Draft is cleared now. Also can you please tell me whether you paid them in dollars or INR.

Secondly, is there any update in your E-cas i.e change in process???

Nope we did not receive the receipt from NDVO yet. My personal banker from HDFC emailed me the confirmation of DD en-cashment.

We paid them in INR.

No update in ECAS for this. It currently reads, In Process with

We received your application for permanent residence on October 16, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 10, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 22, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Dt of Application 30/12/09
FTD: 17/3/10
Medical/PPR: 13/1/11
Medical Completed - 7/2/11
PP re-submitted - 26/4/11
Ecas Status - DM (17/5/11).
Visa Issued-11/5/11
Visa Recieved - 19/5/11

It seems CHC ND is not very consistent in sending across the RPRF receipt,,,,who needs it,,,if the maple leaf is on the way,,,,

Thanks Vinay, but i would prefer to SEE that receipt and maple leaves first, as NDVO dared to mess up with me once :-X.

They printed my 2nd AOR and DID NOT dispatch it until a week after my medicals were dispatched .

I just want to ask you, that I sent my medicals, Rprf and passports in december 2010, but my ecas is still not showing medicals received by cic, why so? Even after submitting the rprf, it is still the same as it was in september, 2010. My ecas has still not been updated since september 2010. What should I do? I am really feeling bad. :-X :-X :-X

Congratulations Indira, for the RPRF encash..

But more Intresting is to see the last line of your e-cas status..

I got chance to see few applicants who have submitted medical and PP around April or May time have got these, while earlier this was seen only at the time of Decision Made..

do you have any track when exactly you came across "got Medical results have been received" in your e-cas status?

May be its due to the change in the process for post 26th June application.. in other case good news about to knock your door!!

I see no reason to panic or upset.. Even they started processing my file on January 18, 2011, and that was the time when my ecas updated last time.. Even though I submitted my PP along with medical and RPRF on February 2, 2011..

Generally it was a trend that medical received was announced in your e-cas at the time of Decision Made, which was not the right thing to do.. But I guess they have changed the process to some extent, and nowadays people do get chance to confirm that CHC has received their medical..

So buddy, just take it easy.. BTW when your passport received by CHC?
