Hi, There is no standard time frame... First confirm that your PPT+RPRF delivered @ CHC. Then wait for 7 days. Thats all. More over its a completely free service. you can ask at any time in bank. just a word - that's all.... I inquired after 10 days, my DD en-cashed in 7days.

my PP and RPRF has been delivered 20 days back, but when i went to bank they said they cannot track DD. no sure if Indian bank( its a bank name ) has that option..

Yeah might be... Some nationalized govt' banks like andhra bank, indian bank, bank of india, uco bank etc.. cannot has that option. they cannot track it, as they don't maintain central servers. Any how its already 20 days, sure you are going to get it in coming week as many holidays are there this week.

My application is in process and my passport is going to expire on 01 May 2011. So, I requested NDVO to return my passport ASAP. I got my passport couple of days back. I am trying to take tatkaal appointment to get a new one. So, I can send it back to NDVO as soon as possible. Please share your views???

Update from me.

My consultant informed me an hour back that they received my and my families passports back with Visa stamped on it today afternoon.

They are verifying the details and will despatch it to me in 2-3 days.

Then I went and checked my status on cic website. It is still showing "In process" but address has disappeared, which was there last Tuesday (I didnt check status after that).

Though I did not write many posts on this forum but quickly reading your posts have given me update about what was going on. Thanks to you all..
