New Delhi Passport Tracking Thread

Can anyone tell me the process that takes place after sending passports to New delhi.

but if vo only picks file from BFD to BFD , then when i got letter for medicals and in it was asked to do needful within forty five days.
according to this letter vo should have picked my file again after forty five days but instead he took it just after one week i submitted my passports , how come so?

VO has to ask for medicals, RPRF and PP at the same time. If he requested your passports within one week after sending medicals then it is normal. It means he picked up your file and was working on it for one week.


But whenever they ask something special like new passports in your case, they usually put bfd on the file and open on bfd to see whether the requirment is fullfilled or not. In the meantime their assisstants receive required information and keep on attaching the same to the file so that VO can see it on BFD.

But if the vo is through with the work in hand then he can open file before bfd. i hope u understand

6. DOCUMENTS IN ORGINAL (WITH 3 COPIES OF EACH) EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, DRIVING LICENSE, PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS (ENOUGH COPIES)
7. IMMUNIZATION CERTIFICATE
8. B4 FORM (ITEMS TO CARRY) 2 copies
9. B4-A FORM (ITEM TO FOLLOW) 2 copies
10. JEWELERY PHOTOS AND PRICE
11. PR CARD APPLICATION FORM
12. SIN CARD APPLICATION FORM


Landing Procedure


1. Fill & keep ready Disembarkation Card/Form We take that form & first go to the 'Passport Control'
2. Inform them we have come for our Landing
3. Go to Newly Immigrants Counter
4. Show the COPR & POF
5. Submit the PR Card Application (Form 5444E)
6. Move to Service Canada office (We get lot of books & information)
7. Move to CBSA (Custom) and declare the Fund, Jewellery, submit B4 & B4-A form 2 copies each (1 copy will get back)


After landing


1. SIN CARD APPLICATION
2. BANK ACCOUNT ACTIVATION
3. FIND ACCOMMODATION
4. SCHOOL ADMISSION (NEED IMMUNIZATION RECORD)
5. PREPARE RESUME AND SEARCH JOB
6. DRIVING LICENSE

He said that he have recieved my pasports with Visa..

Hello guys,

I have a question regarding the Indian RTO certificate to be submitted in Canada for obtaining a driving licence... Is this really useful? What should that certificate state ? Is there a format?

I understand that it will be necessary to obtain a certificate of reference by our country insurance company, stating how long we have been associated, and that - hopefully -we had neither accidents nor traffic offences. Does this refer to only vehicle insurance company or our medical insurance / life insurance companies as well? And if you have changed insurance companies frequently (common practice - depending on rates offered) obtaining such certificate from all such companies will be time consuming. What would you suggest? Also, is there a specific format for such insurance certificate?

What would you suggest? Also, is there a specific format for such insurance certificate? - This is good to have for last 2-3 years, so u may have to get it from 2 companies. No Specific format
