New Delhi or London? Seniors please respond

I have the option of choosing my VO as New Delhi(Indian nationality) or London (basis of country of residence). Where do you think its faster to get our application processed nowdays? Any particular trend has been noticed of applications getting through faster at one Vo compared to the other?

Any suggestions will help.

Hi There

Well from personal experience, London is at a near standstill, especially with it's increased case load!...If I had the option I would say New dehli they are very quick at the moment but you also have to consider being called for an interview if you can afford to make the trip to either for interview then go with New Dehli if not it has to be London, if that is where you are living!!!

So, you would recommend New Delhi? What are the reviews of other members who have applied with the Delhi VO?? What are your positive and negative feedbacks??

I recommend you apply at the VO where you are currently residing (London). That would be more convenient. If you choose Delhi and in case you are required to attend an interview you have to reach Delhi. Also you may have to submit your passport to Delhi while you are in London. Consider the negative benefits (?) while choosing the appropriate VO.

If you dont have a problem in attending an interview in New Delhi than I would say choose New Delhi becuase it is way faster than London.

Wilson- I'm not in London. I live in Kuwait, but for residents of Kuwait, the assigned VO is London.
and me being an INdian citizen, I even qualify to choose New Delhi as my VO.

That's why I wanted an opinion from everyone on this forum who have applied to the above mentioned Visa Offices and was curious about their views of which of the VO would they suggest me to choose.

Thanks Saki for suggesting New Delhi. I guess even if I am called for an interview to NDelhi, it would be more convenient as we have our house there, so would turn out to be cost efficient too.

My vote for New Delhi, they are very fast and efficient. I have read many post on the forum from members who have got visa from New Delhi within 6 to 10 months. In London , it is hard to find a case like this.

So if you put me in your position i will choose New Delhi.

I have also heard that the New Delhi VO is a lot faster. I would recommend New Delhi as well. Good luck with the process!

New Delhi is faster for those who are resident of India but if you are residing in Kuwait and opt for Delhi visa office then story wud be completely different.

Even if u r in kuwait u can still file from N/Delhi, see I have done it from Riyadh but submitted my file at N/Delhi and got it in 8 monts.

FROM MY EXPERIENCE TILL NOW ..LONDON IS HANDLING PAKISTAN AND BANGLADESH TOO. THOUGH THE PROCESSING TIME IS SAID TO BE THE SAME THERE IS AN OVERLOAD OF THINGS THERE BECAUSE OF WHICH SOME CASES ARE TRANSFERRED TO WARSAW WHERE IT TAKES A LOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME
