Guys...

relax don't worry... Timelines don't matter much as every case is different. My wifes file has been pending since Oct 2016. Though a period of 2017-18 was delayed due to my own PR status issues... I had gone into secondary review regarding my residency days confusion.
My file had started processing only after July 2018 and its still 10 months since that..... its one of the oldest applications pending.

Recent GMCS notes suggest a positive decision going by the notes.... writen in April first week post the medical request was done. Till now still no PPR or any other email.

Im just wondering about few things....
do you get to know about DM via email or GCkey ?
Once you get PPR, how many days they give you to send your passport or there's no time limit? also do you send passport to NDVO or VFS delhi...?
Once they stamp the passport, what's the time limit to enter Canada. Is it according to your Medical passed date?
also do you get the port of entry via Airport or land borders only?

Please respond. and good luck to everyone.

Hello ,, can you please answer anyone?
I am in Canada and my wife is in India
So how can I send passport for Permanent residence stamping?
Should we send individually from different countries or I have to bring her passport and send it from Canada both together?

Where is your wife's file? I believe its in New Delhi cz you are in this forum. So your wife's Passport has to be sent to Delhi. And you can send it after you get a mail requesting passport(from Delhi immi). It will contain all the instructions you need to follow. Its only the Principle applicant whose PP needs to be stamped and it shd be in her local visa office.

As far as i know answers to question
1- you can see DM in ECAS
2- 30 days to submit passport from the date u receive the request email. I have seen in this forum people send their Passports to VFS but this information will be available to you by mail too.
3- yes one year since medical
Other answers i might not be 100% correct so i wd rather not share.

If your wife is in india, you can send it to new delhi. You can send your passport to ottawa if you are in canada. Or it will be written on the ppr itself.

Hi Karan
I was just wondering, how things are moving for you, Did you got your PPR?
I am in the same boat as you, I got a letter stating "FINAL REQUEST" - asking more photos,...etc.

Now the file is transferred to NDVO after I serve the requested(FINAL REQUEST) documents, photos, ...etc.
I would really appreciate about your current status on file?
Nope

Waiting for DM, PPR

Got PA on 1st March,

Seems like it will be a flood of PPR in this group after general election result.

Received additional document request yesterday. We will be completing 12 months in June. So,does anyone have an idea if this request will make processing time lengthy than 12 months?
