New Delhi (NDVO) 2017 - Spousal Sponsorship Outside Canada

Hi All, I have question regarding court marriage (I know this topic has been dealt with a few times). I recently got engaged in India and was thinking of going back and doing a court marriage (due to lack of time from work). We have our religious marriage in February, 2019 but I wanted to get a head start by doing a court marriage. Do you think its a good idea to mention the religious marriage part in a letter (with a wedding invite)? Would this just delay my future application further? or Court marriage with proof of me not being able to travel due to work commitments is a good enough reason for not having a religious wedding? I've known her for since 2010 however we've been in a relationship for a year now (i have chats, pics since 2014 etc.). Any advice would be appreciated.

I faced same problem i applied in june 2017 but this may they asked me for medical again . I passed the medical in last august they asked for background form as well . I submitted both and i got everythin with in week like dm ppr but all they exact after a year . So dont worry

No i had to do it again because they sent me new medical sheet and the IME number was different on that. They didnt tell any reason for remedical

I submitted my passport on 27th june . Now its showing passport is dispatched from new delhi office. But haven’t got aany msg from courier service. Any idea?

that sucks.....it past the 12 month standard time...did you do anything about it? contact your MP or NDVO directly....not sure why it takes longer to do background check for government employees.
