Do MP enquiry or ask GCMS notes.....u will know where ur application is stuck........keep writing emails.........that is all we could do

Hi,
I could really use some help here.

My husband is Canadian and I am an Indian.

Application for PR Spousal Sponsorship applied in February 2017.
File transferred to New Delhi for processing in April 2017.
Email received saying that file is queued for interview in August 2017.

Can anyone tell me approximately how long does it take for them to schedule an interview in New Delhi? Does it take 1 month, 6 months, a year from the time the tell you they are going to schedule it?

Please help me with the time frames as it has already been 6 months since I applied and I am worried it might take me years before I finally get to my husband in Canada.

My timeline:

Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class received by CIC - January 13th, 2017
Received Application and UCI numbers - January 31st, 2017
Requested Background Check form - Feb 7th, 2017
Requested Background Check form (again) - March 17th, 2017
Application forwarded to Delhi Visa Office - April 11th, 2017
Received email from NDVO saying they'll begin processing by June 2017 and get back to us - May 15th, 2017
Status of application on ECAS changed from In Process to Decision Made - July 12th, 2017
PPR received - August 2nd, 2017
Passport submitted - August 3rd, 2017

Side Note: We had included the PCC and the Medical forms before-hand. My wife's Medical was done in November 2016, and PCC was obtained in December 2016. Application was submitted in January 2017.

Its ridiculous wait though... We requested GCMS notes last month and today got the email that need 60 more days to respond to that.

We were last asked for RCMP certificate which we submitted on June 28 and then in MP enquiry, we got to know that they received it on Jul 17. Since Jul 17, there has been no update. From the last GCMS notes, I know that nothing else is pending.

Does NDVO/CIC reply to your emails?

I don't think they reply, but I am quite sure they will atleast see it.
