I have seen here at least 2 Oct (Oct 18 & Oct 20) applicants who got DM. Hope things will move faster in the next few weeks for all Oct applicants.
 
The NDVO sends an email with a subject "important information about your application", stating they're gonna start the application process and will get back soon. How long does it usually take for them to request the passport, post receiving this email?

Go for mp enqiry thn only u ll get the real reason why your file is delayed because its never without a reason i had experienced the same thing got dm last Friday may applicant
