Hi All,
I am Sponsor and my wife is applicant

We are sept 1 applicant.
Yesterday CIC status changed to DM. My wife is currently on tourist visa to
Canada. What if we get PPR request in coming days, how shall we proceed
Forward so that my wife need not to travel back to India for visa stamping
And other formalities.

Thanks
Ankush

Dont worry, PPR letter will mention instructions to submit passport to Ottawa if applicant is in Canada.

i couldnt see any september applicants movement.......... feels page has been locked

If your application date is 19 September, how is your AOR2 24 Jan 2016?
I submit my file on 19 september 2016. I receive aor1 - 21 October 2016. Then got sponsor apporoval on 17 January 2016 . Then got aor 2 from ndvo on 24 January 2016. I m telling u exactly it is showing in my cic account. I was even worried because they sent me aor 2 very late. But I think they update my cic account very late . But happy that got dm on time as august applications r mostly finish. I think u guys should count time from application filed date not from aor1 or aor 2 dates . What is ur timeline?

Hello all,
Im kind of new to this forum.
My husband applied from canada, and they received my papers on aug 26th, and in process on oct 11.just last month by the end, they send me an email asking to send RPRF payment. But i did send that back in october, anyways i send that back to email address...so am i on right track? Or i have to send the RPRF recipt to somewhere else. I just noticed people applied before me got the decision made status and for some PPR.
So, im little worried about my process, i passed the medical and everything, and i think im kind of stuck by the RPRF payment,
Thanks

Hey everyone,

I am truly thankful to see so many quick replies throughout this thread.

I would like get some information on processing times. CIC received my application to sponsor my wife in January, and processing began on the 30th. I have since been approved as a sponsor, and as far as Canadian offices are concerned, all documents are in order. Yesterday (April 11th), I received an email saying the application has now been sent to the New Delhi visa office for further processing.

My query is this: What happens at this phase, and how long will it take?
What all are we to expect out of this?

Thank you in advance to all those who help reply. Good luck to everyone with their applications. Hope you all get re-united with your partners soon.
:)

Hi
Next step would be you receiving AOR2 from NDVO may take 2-3 weeks time.
Then afterwards simply wait for another 4-5 months to start process your file.
