What is ifhp? In gc key account i am seeing some change. In applications not yet submitted they are mention ng ifhp and 58 days left ro submit.. But i already got dm on ecas.

its federal health program


The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) provides limited, temporary coverage of health-care benefits to people in the following groups who aren’t eligible for provincial or territorial (PT) health insurance:

protected persons, including resettled refugees;
refugee claimants; and
certain other groups.

The IFHP does not cover the cost of health-care services or products that a person may claim (even in part) under a public or private health insurance plan. The IFHP does not coordinate benefits with other insurance plans/programs so co-payments aren’t possible.

just send inquiry mail with attached photocopy of receipt

you will see change in few days
its better to send mail instead of waiting for some movement

may be they update everything together

but if you have any doubt
just send them mail again after one month ......or just call and ask directly from helpline no.

helplines are usually of vfs office near your location
they can just help you ........if you want to ask about documents being rcvd or not to ndvo
give them your application no. and ask about rprf being rcvd or not
they willnot tell any detail

i never used helpline no.
my friend used ....so i asked her now
hope it helps

for ndvo
only mail is thr and that too they dont give response easily

If it doesnt belong to pr application. Then why they added new table with not submitted application name for ifhp.

PR related documents are asked in additional documents required in gc key
that is what my agent said

about this ifhp program ...
if we wouldnt have created gc account...
how would we have known???
i think its like kind of add
or just want to promote thr program

i will ask my agent in detail
