Hello guys, my spouse's medical is expiring this month. Aor2 has been showing in process since January 14, 2017. Do you think there is any hope of getting ppr before medical expires on April 16?

2nd april 2017 got passport with visa from new Delhi office . Submitted on 28th March 2017.

as processing time is 7-8 months according to thr speed
you will get ppr most probably in june july 2017

Got pr- a few people have been getting them within 4 months

Yes , that is what I collected from reading here. But, seems like December 7 and after applications are getting processed alongside as well. At least, from real life examples that I have seen. That is why found the whole ndvo decision making quite confusing.

may be new applicants have different processing times as thr applications format is different
but what i have seen here
normal processing times 7-8 months

yes there are 4 month timelines in our cases also but 1-2 %

i dont want dishearten you
as i know how it feels when you wait
but still you should be strong
may you get ppr in 4 month timeline if 2017 applicants are really getting it in 4 months

They called and check our possibilities to travel before medical expires, we said ok

within 30m they clear everything and send approval letter and asked passport nearest vfs within 5 dys
we are submitting tomorrow @ chennai

Hey Knsamnair - Can you share the number from which the CIC called you ?, today my wife got a call from this number(677 827 1075) but she was not able to attend it!

CIC is by far one one of the most disorganized, imcompetent and crass institutions. whenever there is any external stimuli that leads to change ... change in application methods or audits or express entry streams or processing times, they skip applications from the old bunch and jump to the new ones just to keep up with their performance indicators.
it does not take university education or even basic education to understand fairness and competency go hand in hand. First in first out! There are june- sep applicants waiting and they switch to dec.

As people applied to Ottawa are getting PPR in 4 months.
