I feel mine is the worst case ever...

June 1st applicant.
BGC under process since Jan 16th I guess..
Additional Document - Jan 23

Made MP inquiry on Feb 27th - no use - they say criminality verification is in process since Jan 11th, 2016.
Made another MP inquiry through my mom-in-law March 24th - no use again - they wrote same bulls**t about processing time to be 17 months.

My Medical is expiring on 27th April. and no one seems to be caring...

I have seen people write about their My CIC account getting updated after they sent the additional documents.... but mine doesnot even say that they asked for additional documents.


I feel that no one seems to be caring about my file.. God knows how long will it still take after my medical gets expired.

Any help or suggestion would highly appreciated ... Please tell me if I should/can go to the High Commission Office in New Delhi.

you should wait till may month...
as processing time is 12 months
if you will go before anywhere to ask about your case...
CIC has very good excuse about processing time

Either MP inquiry or High commission office ....nobody can do anything within 12 months.......after 12 months you have full right to ask about your case....they cant ignore


May you get ppr before may month

No there's a separate column listed on my gckey after I login I see a table which says application type IFHP, number of days left to submit - 60, and then continue to submit, after I click on that I was asked certain questions none of which were relevant in my case so I chose none of the above, and then it says you are not eligible for IFHP. Below this table is the usual table which shows my application details and nothing has changed on it

IFHP is Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)
To be eligible for the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), you must qualify under one the groups listed in the chart below and must not be a Canadian citizen.

Refugee Claimants,Resettled Refugees,Other Eligible Group

So its not related to spouse aplication , you dont have to do anything in it

I SUBMITTED MY PASSPORT AFTER PPR E-MAIL THROUGH VFS ON 22/03/2017 AND I RECEIVED VFS SMS THAT UR PASSPORT IS FORWARD TO NDVO ON 23/03/2017 ,BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PASSPORT BACK AFTER STAMPING VISA TILL DATE.VFS ONLINE SERVICE SHOWING VISA APPLICATION IS BEING PROCESSING AT NEW DELHI.ANY BODY OR ANY OF UR FRIEND /RELATIVE OR ANY BODY READ ON THIS WHOSE SIMILAR CASE AS MINE THAT PASSPORT TAKEN MORE THAN 7 WORKING DAYS TO RECEIVED BACK .WHAT CAN I DO.

You can call on the help line number they have provided on the receipt.
