my application has linked to mycic account but when i click check status and messages under view my submitted application or profiles then only only coloumns seen written (1) where is this application (2)details (3) help . no action dates are seen .pls tell me how can see the dates of action.providing information below

Fourth line is not compulsory. Dm means decision made. So have you got dm.

Hello my Friends,

I applied for TRV on 22nd Feb and today I got a message requesting passport.

As soon as I read this message I was very happy, but now I am confused reading the content again, which asks for the original passport nothing else.
Below is the message -

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.
Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.
Your passport must be received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure
to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please ensure that a copy of this letter is included with your
passport.


Can anyone please share his/her exp with this.

NDVO is soo slow

My BG in process from yesterday.....July 27 applicant....

they have asked me additional documents on Feb 20 2017 and they have received my package on March 3 2017 (last friday).

Yesterday, they have started my BG in process but "additional document request" ..they haven't changed it yet to provided......

Background checks are a step in the process and during this process if they need additional documents they will ask you to send them.

When you do, it takes them ten days to accept and verify that you have sent the correct ones, once that's complete the line item for additional document request in the previous format would have changed to accepted. I don't know how the new format would give out that information. Even I am waiting on that.

Send your new name change proof via email or webform to cic and NDVO by mail with proper explanation asap

My medical shows passed long time ago....but no progress on file....Do not know why NDVO is on Sleep mode since March 1,2017.
