My husband applied for spousal sponsor on June 2015. Immigration has started processing our application on August 2015. I got interview call on October 27, 2016. Both me and my husband attend the interview in ND. I was asked to re do my medical and pay my Landing fee. Landing fee was paid on November 10 and Medical on November 16. I am waiting for my PPR letter. I sent an inquiry mail to the ND. They replied that the application is with the VISA officer. How long will it take to receive the PPR letter.? Can anyone let me know. Waiting is too hard. Please.. :'( :'( :'( :'(

Yes that's true.
You can only login with the the information that they link to your account.

Generally when they receive any correspondence, they record the date they receive it and log info in their GCMS system electronically. only information which is logged into the system can be used for logging into ECAS or to link application in MYCIC account.

Try entering these details, i worked for me yesterday after plenty of attempt.

If you have representative on your file then you vl not be able to link.. sorry

First you have to register with MyCIC by creating an account.

To create a MyCIC account, go here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp

- Click on 'Continue to GC Key' button
- Next screen, click on 'Sign Up' button
- Next screen, read Terms and Conditions of use and click on 'I accept' if you are happy
- Then follow the screen sequence to create your own user name, password etc. Once registered, then you can login and try to link an existing application to your my CIC account is as described

Then after you login, you click on Link App to this Account button.

You may have to try numerous attempts & try different combinations to get result but do not worry , as definitely out of them 1 will work.. keep trying..

Hi leon

I got my PR in september 2016, I went to canada for 20 days...came back on 13th october as my marriage was on 20th november.
I landed in toronto..came back..got married and my marriage certificate has address of toronto.
Is it possible that now i move to BC and sponsor my spouse from there or I have to sponsor him from toronto only?

You can sponsor anywhere from Canada.....enjoy BC...it is beautiful...
