I am July 2nd applicant who got DM on Feb 14. But I have still not received PPR when many others with the same or even later DMs have received PPR.

Is there anything I can do to find out why? Also, any idea on what could be holding up PPR more than 3 weeks after DM?

Hey Guys - I'm a PR holder and I have applied PR for my wife through family sponsorship. I had submitted the documents on Aug 1, 2016. When i checked the Application status, i see following

We received your application for permanent residence on August 11, 2016.
We started processing your application on September 20, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Now i'm trying to connect this Application in my GCKey account but i'm not successful. Here is the information i have given in the "Connect to existing Application" page

I applied for TRV on 22nd Feb and today I got a message requesting passport.

As soon as I read this message I was very happy, but now I am confused reading the content again, which asks for the original passport nothing else.
Below is the message -

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.
Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.
Your passport must be received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure
to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please ensure that a copy of this letter is included with your
passport.


Can anyone please share his/her exp with this.

Sorry for late post.

I got visa on the day of my interview on 6th March itself. The visa officer was so nice. She asked me so many questions. It was about 1 and half hour interview. Finally, she approved my visa and granted on the same day. I am May 2016 applicant.

2 immigration file

If you are requesting GCMS for spousal sponsorship alone then it should be "immigration file" or else if you want to know about details of your sponsor approval "sponsor file "

Also i see the due date is for Sep-2017...

So they did not do anything until 14 Feb 2017 :-X

Yeah, it does not include any other details than Passport request, that means its approved and you will know the details (like validity of VISA, etc ) once you get the passport back from them. If its refused you will get email stating why it was refused.
