yes I got it now how to reply to the post. Sorry for all hiccups. I think this is something new from NDVO. They went to my neighbour to ask for me and my wife. my neighbour then drive them to my house. My wife was at work so not able to talk. but my mom gave answer what she can. but she was not able to show pictures as she doesnt know where are they. She offer to show on computer but the guy said thats okay. they ask about marrige place and how many people invited. They also ask where am I work and my wife. and finally they took picture at end. there were two person one lady and one guy and driver was waiting out side. Hope this describe a bit about what was happened

Applied in July.
Sponsor approval September 5th.
Letter got from NDVO saying they got my file is January first week 2017.
Medical passed January third week.
And all other status shows not started.
Suddly this visit happened.

Did your mother or mother in law as for their IDs? Did they share any papers with you or leave any documents? Can you also share the time line of your application?

Yes Sir, she is my wife but i don't want she take all this stress so I am following up now. My mom asked only one thing when they entered that why are you asking all this and they said this is the survey about your son file under process. She did not ask for any id unfortunately.

Thanks for your replies, don't worry, if this is a new process then you shouldn't worry about it but it was a fake encounter then i suggest you call NDVO or have your wife call them to find out if surely they had sent people over there. Thank you. yes i already called CIC and also have sent email to NDVO just to make sure it's not fraud inquiry. I will update as soon as i get any update.

My husband went to the MP yesterday. He made him fill up a form and told him that it will take 2 weeks for them to know the status...

Yes unfortunately its true, they do take 2 weeks officially but if they hear back sooner, they will inform you

i never heard about home visit.
but other question is who can know about details of your file??
anyways if they do so i dont need to worry
i hv so many posters of wedding and prewedding at in laws home...they wont doubt at all
Also at home you can show so many proofs like wedding albums,gifts .....etc

if anybody knows about it,please give information, it can happen to anybody...

Hi, i am a silent reader.

July 17 Applicant.

A VERY STRANGE THING HAPPENED TODAY.

My backgroud check shows NOT STARTED on GCkey.

But today two randon people visited personally to my inlaws place (a white man and a brown lady).

Only my mother-in law was present at home.

They 1st asked about me as where am i.

She said i m not present as she has gone for a work so they Inquired further with her and asked her question like:

1) when did they get married?
2) Why they did simple wedding?
3) where did your son work and ur daugther in law work?
And many such random question related to my file.

When my mother in law asked why r u guys asking me such question, they said we are inquiring related to the file ur son has kept for SPOUSE SPONSORSHIP.

Please guys advice if such thing happened to anyone or it is some kind of FRAUD??????

MYSELF and MY HUSBAND ARE REALLY WORRIED, IF THIS HAPPENED TO BE FRAUD????
