hi all we applied visitors visa before applying PR and rejected
we are july 26 applicant
is that a problem for me ?
In the immigration form there is a block which asks if the candidate has ever been rejected, I may be wrong but i do remember somewhere where it says that. If you have answered honestly then it shouldnt be a problem

Umm what do you mean by that ? O.o
Being a Canadian Citizen she can go into the high commission at any time, no appointment needed. But they will not entertain her when it comes to questions about immigration of your file. Does this help?

Hi ash ,

hi everyone, my wife got her ppr and have sent her passport to Ottawa (She's already here on Visitor's visa).

I'm planning to do her landing here only at the Niagara Falls border, but she wont get her PR card any time soon and she has to travel to India on March 2nd for a month.

I cant wait to have her do her landing while coming back from India because her landing visa is only approved until March 19th.

I've found out about PRTD (Permanent Resident Travel Document), is that a valid option ? as she has not even received her first pr card yet. As per the requirements, only thing required is landing paper and that she will have.

Anyone else has been in a similar scenario or know someone who was. Please advise.

I would suggest you to stop by any CIC office or in-land landing office and confirm all this or call CIC. Secondly just make absolute sure that when she leaves India, the airlines accept the PRTD for her to board the aircraft. Get the flag pole landing done asap and go to the office for the PR to see if they can expedite your case and give her the PR card sooner. Good luck and all the best

I'm going to do the flag pole landing same day I receive her passport, hopefully it comes soon, they received it at Ottawa on Feb 1st. Regarding traveling back on a PRTD, that I've confirmed, the airlines take that as a valid proof of your Canadian status.
I'm only concerned that a prtd will be granted without any issues.
One thing I was thinking, I'm going to ask my wife to talk about this with the officer while she does her flag pole landing at Niagara falls.

How much gold I can take with me?

Can I keep it in handbag? What documents do I need to take all my jewellry with me?
