Ah cool Thank you :)

May be stupid question but I will still ask :P

If couple living together from 6 years and cic ask for interview. i will not have chat or call logs. what can I take with me. I hope no interview but you never know ;)
If you are living together, then you should have pics together for places visited, trips taken, airlines tickets, hotel bookings, etc..... and in most cases, leasing of car papers, insurances, DL history with addresses, rental papers or mortgages, joint accounts or financial papers........hope this helps and or messages from each other on your cell phones

Hello Seniors,

Greetings! I have a doubt. I am an Indian living is Canada as a PR. I am about to file my an application to sponsor my wife. We got married around a month back and she added my name in her passport as a husband name. But, we didnt change her address to my Indian address (my parental home) and it's still the same as her parental home. I wanted to know if that will be an issue?

Do we need to add the spouse's name on her Aadhar card as well?

It would have been the best thing to change her address while your name was being added in her passport but its ok. Make two marriage affidavits, one from your father\mother or head of the family and the second one from her father\mother or head of the family, mention that you two got married on so and so date and since that point onwards, shes living with you at your address. Have it notarized and attested by a Gazetted Officer. If you want, you can take it to Secretariat and get it GED done on it and then send it to MEA (ministry of External Affairs in Delhi) for Rs 1500/- and have it attested from them as well.

Don't bother with Aadhar Card, if you can easily and quickly have those changes made then its ok else there's no point. Get her PCC and request them to issue it for your house address against her Passport. The Police will still visit both houses for verification.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for ur reply .. I submitt all pcc within 3 months so not experied. When I go for marriage I india I get pcc at that time nd I live there few days after pcc does it matter ?? Nd I am thinking to apply new ones as a safe side what do u think ?
It doesnt matter, PCC from the country of origin is a must and since you have an indian Passport, you will always have to show an Indian PCC till you denounce Indian Passport. Its better to submit the original documents, since they have expired, again via email and web form.

In case you dont have a copy stored with you then in that case you can always ask for another one.

Hi Guys, I just wanted to know if my wife and I need to open a joint bank account in India. I am a Canadian PR. Will it be a benefit?

Also, my wife has my name in her passport but her parental home address instead of mine. Will that be a problem? Do we need to have common Indian address in her all ID proofs? Her's is the parental address for Aadhar card and Passport.
Having a joint account and you transferring money from here to the joint account is always a + thing.

Hi,

Is it good to send PCC upfront?
Will sending it later (when they ask) cause a delay in processing times?

Thanks.

Send the original upfront with the package and always have a scanned copy of it with you in case you would need it for later. Sending it later adds time to your application.

Hello Guys,

I had a question regarding TRV. My wife will be traveling on trv soon. Just wondering, do we need update her residential address to canada.

Please note she will be staying in canada hopefully for 6 months while her spousal sponsorship is in process. If required, we might apply for an extension later on.

I have heard NDVO calling applicants so just wondering changing address n phone number to CDN details might be beneficial.

Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks
