Can you please share your timeline?

When did you apply? and when did you get medical done?

Yo can always go and join her without any concern. But it is always recommended not to go because that way you can get cross checked.

Thanks

I have always been told to go with your spouse to the interview. And you can get cross checked even if your not attending the interview as they usually call the sponsor to ask them questions as well

Odds are very less being cross checked on phone at same time.

But again its CIC .. Anything can happen. Luck matters while dealing with immigration.

Good luck

I DONT KNOW IF AGE GAP IS CONSIDERED AS A RED FLAG, WE HAVE ALMOST 7-8 YR GAP AND GOT NO INTERVIEW REQUEST/ADDITIONAL DOCUMENT REQUEST. MAY 27 APPLICANT GOT PPR EMAIL ON MONDAY.
An age gap is not a red flag, its only a perception people are pulling out of thin air since there is no transparency in the workings of NDVO. Something to label it as a FLAG. ;) ;) ;)

Guys am so nervous for the interview... hope all goes well:)
All the best and dont worry, you will ace it. Just relax and be yourself. Like i always say, YOU DON'T NEED TO REMEMBER THE TRUTH, IT COMES NATURALLY.

Got email for interview, scheduled for feb 2017... Smiley
Seems there's some movement in NDVO... ANY good news frens?

I'm confused is it better to hire interpreter or not as i think there may be problem in listening if the interviewer is native speaker ? Any suggestions ?Thank u !!!!
If you think your communication will be a factor, get an interpreter from their recommended sources only and yes its better. What do u mean by native speaker?

I don't think there is any limit for DD or travels Cheque. For cash it's CAD 10000/- everything above will be taxable.
Any amount (Cash, DD, travelers checks) equivalent to CAD 10000 (Ten thousand) must be declared. There is no limit to this amount and you will have to justify it as to where you got it from. IT WILL NOT BE TAXED.

Hi all there is update on our side. My wife has got an interview call for 10 Feb 2017. I was thinking of going back and joining her. Should there be any concern about me going back to join her for interviwe
You are not required to join her, its not mandatory, but if you feel the need to and more importantly you want to and you can, please do join her. It will only boost her moral. But for any reason you cant, then please stay by the phone number which you have exchanged with CIC, they will most likely call you.

Hi, I am June 10th applicant and still waiting.....
I am with my husband in Canada since Oct 2016 on tourist visa. Can anyone suggest if i can send the additional proofs for these 3 months of stay in Canada to support my file? CIC has not asked for any additional documents.
Appreciate response and suggestions.

*Done with sponsorship approval and medical status received.
Rule of thumb is, don't disturb the lazy beast. If you send in documents, it might work in your favour and the officer might just add the documents to your file and give it a quick review and might render a decision in your favour OR
He/She might put aside your additional docs and wait for the time to reach your file and then react on it.

as yourself;
1. Are these documents very important?
2. Will these effect the outcome of my file?
3. Did they ask for it?

Hope this helps

don't think its a good idea to join.. as m=one of my friend joined.. and u make silly mistakes and they find a reason to reject.. they ask questions separately to your spouse and after 10 mts they call u to match... I don't think this is a good idea at all...

Not sure if I am posting in the right forum. I am asking this question on behalf of someone else. The husband lives in Afghanistan and just got an e-mail saying to send Passport thru VFS. It says contact VFS India or Nepal. Can he contact VFS Pakistan instead since its closer to him and he can travel there? Also how long does it take from sending to get passport back with Visa as he wants to know how long he should expect to stay in Pakistan to wait for the passport. Final question is does VFS send the passport to your address or tells you to come pick it up?

When had they applied ?

How many June 7 to June 10 applicants waiting for BG check ?

Thanks

Hi. I am May 26th applicant. No updates after Medical received. I was trying to order GCMS notes but I am confused. It says requesting information for including name and client id? Should I put my information or my wife's information who is in India? Please let me know...
