Thanks, so your file has reached the minimum "normal" processing time like almost everyone else....I see you are June 28th applicant. So hang in there, the silence is the killer and i am sure like you and me many are there waiting for this silence to be broken soon. Patience is the key friend. I am not that far behind, so i am also looking forward to have my wife's application resolved sooner or at the latest by Feb 3-4 week.

Want to share the timeline of my friend..

Application Filed May 17

Passport request January 24


January 22 New delhi visa office sent his wife remedical email. His wife medical was expeiring on March 28,2017.

Immigration officer called his wife January 24 morning and explained her he sent her remedical request by mistake . After one hour he sent her passport submission request.

Look like there are thousands of May applicants . Hope they will finish soon and jump to some next months.

I am june 20 applicant No update so far even medical not updated yet.



Guys I have question

I booked my ticket next month to India for 28 days

Is it safe to stay 28 days ? I am permanent residence

Do i need to give update regarding my visit ?

Example : Ticket confirmation

Are you sure it is Feb 06 or March 6 ? Because today is January 24 And did they give you only 11 days notice before interview ?

Safe for your Citizenship file, surely yes............and you don't have to mention this to anyone or update anyone. If you're thinking of letting NDVO know about your wife's profile then it's not important.

Traveling, you mean on immigration or Visa?

On Immigration any amount as much as you can as long as you can prove it, its not from an illegal source
