Hey guys my wife got an email for interview and i was wondering if i should go to india and go with her to the interterviw you think it will help are case i dont have a clue why they want an interview

Order GCMS notes now and you may get an idea why! It takes 30 days to receive and so it will help you see why the officer felt a need for an interview. Also, I read earlier u mentioned your wife is 3 years older ( unfortunate but likely that is a red flag as a previous poster mentioned and no offence meant but that is considered a red flag within their cultural context of India is the guess). Your wife wil have to explain extremely well why this age difference isn't an issue and give some solid reasons for it ( if that is why they flagged your file). None of us are experts but learn as we go! Your best avenue is to order notes and find out. Then address their concerns with solid proof and context based on your personal circumstances! As someone advised its good if u are present, if u can't attend with her - make sure you keep an eye out for a call from them!

I had submitted my wife's Passport 2 weeks back (She is here on TRV). Still not dispatched from Ottawa? How many days did it took for you? Thanks in advance.
[/quote]When did you submit the passport to Ottawa ,I did send on Jan12th and it reached on 13th but did not hear anything back

Hi,

If you have the time please book an appointment with the MP and his/her agent should help you with the " Y " an interview. You can always tell them that your wife is going to India for the interview and you want to know if there is anything else required from you to make the interview successful. The three year age thing might be r might not be a flag.

Just make sure that they call CIC and get the information in advance and be prepared.
Good Luck.

Dear friends, if your outland visa office was NDVO and you "are RESIDING IN US" right now and recently got a PPR:

--- Which Visa office did you get your PPR from? Was it Ottawa, Delhi or NY/LA?
--- How did you submit your passport?

Hi,

This depends on what passport you have. If you have an Indian Passport the application will be sent to NDVO. If you have a US passport then it will go to Ottawa.

One can submit the passport to the VO which is mentioned in the PPR email sent to the applicant by the Canadian Visa Office.

Hope this helped!

India doesn't allow dual citizenship so I assumed you have an Indian passport and NDVO application processing.

Given that, my question was if you are living in US currently and got a PPR request, where were you asked to submit the passport? New Delhi, US or Canada VO?

You will send it to nearest Canadian embassy, which is close to your home (current country).

Good luck,
