Dear ALL,
I am much worried and panicked now as my case has not started background check yet despite being May 22nd Applicant. Can anybody suggest me please for what should I do now????? The as usual list of doing most of the time nowadays is to open the GCKEY and check for more than 4 times a day but getting no update at all, secondly, I am checking ecas, that too shows nothing except medical result received.....So frustrating and hyper tensed situations now, plz suggest me... Also inquired with the MP but got no feedback yet ;D

Its not a must for you to go to India. If you want to be a part of the interview process in person, you may chose to go and answer questions if she cant answer them. But surely do keep the phone beside you and be alert for the call from them if you chose not to go. They will call during the same window of time they gave your wife.

As for the questions, they will be generic catered to your marriage and how you guys know each other, met, does she know your family and do you know her family, did your families come to your wedding. Mostly along those lines to see if you guys are genuine and here is the link for the Spousal Interview questions

Congrats folks on getting PPR. I am sure others have received too but don't share their updates here or might not be on the forums. Looking like a positive start to the week.

Can anybody go to CHD VFS and submit the passport or my wife needs to be personally present?

Yes anyone can go on behalf of your wife to submit it to the VFS. Congrats.

My DM was on 18/01/2017 and i have a representative in Canada so i have no idea whether i have received PPR mail or not.
Has anyone got the PPR mail?

Call them and ask them to go through their inbox and let you know. These reps are very lazy once they get your money. You have to drive them to tasks....

Thanks... But I am at a point of time where I really need to be with my husband... He got his back surgery on 19th... and he lives alone.. even though he gets nurse visits every alternate day, I want to be there for him every moment....

This wait is killing me... I have been so Patient and never cribbed about the processing time... But BGC since 12th Jan and no sign of DM is getting on my nerve....

Sorry I didnt want to sound so low..

I am happy for you... and others getting PPR this week... I guess I should pray even harder now..

Final Update on my wife's PR Application,
She completed her landing process in Rainbow bridge yesterday(She was with on TRV with me for the last 6 weeks)
Process at Rainbow bridge is pretty simple.
Just make sure you reach the bridge early morning to avoid crowd and also husband(Sponsor) should accompany during the process.

Time line as below

May 11th Applicant.
Med expiry - April 2017
BGC was in progress from 8th December
DM - 20th December
PPR - 22 December
Landing - 22 Jan 2017
