Well, wonders never cease. I think maybe the MP inquiry to the Minister's office may have worked. Finally it shows DM ----- only a few weeks shy of one full year. I don't know why it took so long. I knew there was no red flags, I went over everything with a fine tooth comb before I sent it, and its a first marriage for both of us, with several years history leading up to it and ample evidence. Also, both of us have spotless record. I think they just forgot about our file or it got lost in the file system till now. But anyway DM. Too bad it wan't a few weeks ago so he could be here for holidays. But now we have to wait for PPR and I think that will be in the new year as NDVO is probably on vacation now. In any case, just hope they get PPR and get his passport back to him so we will have enough time to get PR card before moving back to India on 2 March.
congrats, happy new year
