Hi Guys,

After waiting anxiously I got a call from the embassy today (phew).

So I was handed over the CPR & got my visa stamped.

Visa Issue Date: 20-12-2016
Visa Expiry Date : 29-12-2016 :-X

But I have condition on my PR. Section 72.1 where I have to cohabit with my wife for a period of 2 years.

Can someone please tell me that do I have to take my wife along with me for completing my landing? Currently she is in India living with me.
Is it necessary for us to be in the same place for the entire 2 year? Can we travel back n forth to India independently?

Looks like a conditional PR, the want to make sure that you guys are living together as husband and wife in the same dwelling or address. This is ensure that your case is not a fraudulent case.

Its interesting to know that from the documents which you had provided the CIC, they were not satisfied by it.

Don't take it personally, its been happening with others as well.

And i don't think u need your wife with u for landing.

Is it necessary for us to be in the same place for the entire 2 year? : YES make sure that all your address match like the bank, driver's licence any other govt. Docs.
Can we travel back n forth to India independently? : YES, you can.

My wife is in Canada on TRV. I am waiting for BGC/Decision Made/ PPR. I have a question regarding flag polling at Niagara, US Border. If we plan to complete the PR process through flag polling as soon as we get visa and plan to bring our belongings/jewelry from India in the next trip.

1. How do we declare the belongings we plan to bring in next trip?
2. Do we need to provide the pictures or jewelry we plan to bring? (I read somewhere)
3. Do we need to provide the original bills of the jewelry?

Please reply if anyone has any idea about it.

Yes declaring at time of landing or flag polling. You need to provide pic of it and make sure make two copies of pics and forms. There is forms available on Cic. Bill is not mandatory
