I think Waheguru didn't hear our prayers. It's now only few weeks away from a full year waiting.
His BG check has been in progress since 11 November.
Original application date 15 January. Yes for the newcomers (some of you who have gotten DM /PPR from the May group), you read that right... January!
According to GCMS notes, there is no missing documents, no red flags, its just that NDVO won't work on it. Last file open prior to the BG in progress, was 22 March when it was entered in the system in NDVO as being received. They never touched it again till 11 Nov. And now, that has been a month and a half gone by.
It takes NDVO from 22 March to 11 November to finally open my husband's file and then, again for no reason have stopped working on it.
I went through MP office and they said strange so they sent email to Minister's office and I have not heard anything back.
It's been almost 2 weeks since the email to the Minister's office was sent.
Now NDVO personnel will go on Christmas / New Year's leave and then when they get back our file will be 1 full year.
Meanwhile so many people getting it in 6-9 months.
Why is Waheguru not hearing our prayers? Why won't NDVO even look at my husband's file at all?

You need to do what you can and let Waheguru ji do what you can't. Trust him, he is always on time.

Yes i have already submitted the medicals with the package and yes there is no request for medicals in my AOR2.
Thanks a lot. But it is advisable to do an MP Inquiry?

Hello,

Considering the date of application I think there is no harm in doing a MP enquiry. I hope hear good news..

Thank you

Hello guys,

Is anyone started using the new PR application package which was released on Dec 15th.
I have a question related to IMM 5562 form, I'm sponsoring only my wife on a family class outside Canada and so far I filled out all forms but got stuck at the IMM 5562. In the application form it asks to enter all tours taken by your family members including spouse since last 10 yrs outside country of origin or residence.
Do I (sponsoring person - resident of Canada), as a spouse to her need to enter all my trips taken last ten years? is this applicable to me?
can anyone help me on this? appreciate your help and answers.

thanks

Hi,

I just read the form, it says your family member - so not you but anyone who is applying and non-resident of Canada.
Please read your application forms several times and let someone new read it too before you submit it.

Good Luck!

Please review the Guide P700 for the details of this, i am sharing some info here from it,
"Who needs to fill out this application form?

This form must be completed by:

you, the principal applicant;
You must complete all sections including those for your spouse or common law partner (whether accompanying or not) and each dependent child over the age of 18 (whether accompanying or not)."
