Observed today on my GC key account .

Under " Review of submitted documents" field it now blank but it was mentioned " No docs needed at this time".

Not sure how this change mean to processing of my application but want to know if anyone else observed this.

So it's been an entire month of BG in progress as of today. No DM no PPR

Spoke to the MP assistant and they said it looks like our file is not being worked on at all so they are trying to dig deeper doing a case specific inquiry with the actual ministers office the Atlantic liaison anyway. They are also mentioning I cancelled needed surgery because my husband's TRV was denied and I want him here for it (can you imagine going through major surgery or your spouse and you can't be by each other's side?) and the fact that I am holding off on the surgery until he gets PR and it's only making the situation worse. But he said he can't do anything else really unless it's a life or death situation and then the MP can hand deliver a letter to the minister in ottawa. But very few cases ever are dire enough to qualify for that.

Glad more April and March ppl got DM and PPR. Hopefully rest of us from January will come soon.

Its a very solid leverage which you have and God willing you will get the positive result out of it. If u have gone and personally met the EA to the MP, they will act on your behalf and now that you have a reasonable request, your case will come through soon. Hang in there a little longer and May god bless you and all of us and get us the speedy result which we all so rightfully deserve

I just had a quick question as I was reading through this....so my file was transferred to New Delhi but I'm still waiting for aor2. I checked today and on pa side it has a third line saying we started processing our app on dec 7 2016. So my question is did they recieve our file and we just haven't gotten a mail?

If someone can help me understand this, it would be great

Many people in the forum earlier have mentioned about non receipt of aor2. And ecas is showing that they have started processing your file at ndvo, there is nothing to worry about .

There is no Background check started yet. How long might I wait for as per current trend?? I'm 22 May applicant?? Currently, my Canadian spouse is here in Nepal to visit me. He is also returning Canada soon. Should I inform NDVO about his vacational tour to Nepal??

Interview on 07th Nov 2016..passport collected post interview along with remed & pcc
Good Luckeveryone & the key to get through this process is PATIENCE..

Did they ask you to brink remedical and PCC or you just took it with you .My spouse has interview next week .His PCC and Medical will be still valid at that time .Should I worry about getting new one ?? I mean medical and PCC

1. How long it usually takes to receive PPR after DM? (May 4th Applicant , ECAS showing DM on both sides since December 7th, 2016, GCKey still showing background check in progress)
2. Do we usually receive PPR request by email or via regular mail or by both? If by email - which email address distribute the notification?

I think u r closer for bgc...if u are together in nepal right now take photos of every place u visit and keep the copy of boarding pass and flight tickets safe, it will be helpful if VO ask more documents regarding genuineness of your relationship.All the best, i'll be following your timeline as your are a month earlier applicant than me.
