Funny thing, his brother is high ranking police in Srinagar... had I known maybe we could have had that expedited...
Its not too late, atleast have it checked whether/when an email inquiry came and when it was sent back to NDVO. If its already been sent back then your file is in queue for final review. When our background check started I had asked a family member in India to notify the local Police station in Poonch to expect an email. They pretended for two weeks like they didnt get an email from the High Commision, after my wife got PPR, the Police superintendant acknowledged that it had come two weeks prior and had been sent back the same day, but they couldnt acknowledge due to secrecy reasons. You might have better luck if your brother in law is in the Police.

Hi, if anyone have ndvo ph. no plz, let me know.

hey guys,
my cousin got Aor in April and i checked his file status and it's saying decision made? do you know what is the next step??
When will he get PPR?

what it means "decision Made"??

thank you

And in gcms
What all we can figure out that only medicals have been passed.

Everythn else hasnt started except fr an activity of grouping done by ndvo in later sep'16.

Really hoping that they touch our files by mid dec.

25th may applicants with 2nd aug as aor2.
I did not understand what did you mean by grouping.
For me it was the same, no information other than medical passed.
I also found that there is not even an officer assigned for the case yet

Try to go through all the notes. The section where activities performed by ndvo are listed before application status, comes grouping.

Ours is on 16th page with history heading

It mentions the group like the batch no in which case is to be processed at ndvo

It means, that your file is at "Review of eligibility" state. This step routinely takes about 4.5~5.5 months but there have been cases where this was very quick ??? ??? and also cases where it took its sweet time :( >:( >:(. So hang in there and keep patience. ;D ;D ;D

thank you very much bro, little relaxed

I can empathize with you. It is been 4 weeks for me since Decision Made. I know my comment doesn't make you feel better but just want to let you know you are not alone.

Wish you get it next week.

Yeah looks like our files are in hands of some lazy old officer who is waiting for retirement, pension and no intention to work.

How to apply GCMS / ATIP notes.

Only a person who is in Canada can request the notes.
If principal applicant is in Canada, he/she can request for himself and apply for free under Privacy Act.

If sponsor is requesting it on behalf of Principal applicant, you need consent form from PA and $5 fee. You can receive consent form from spouse thru email and upload it. Apply under Access to Information Act.

It takes about 30 days to receive by email. It is a ~30 pages document

GOOD LUCK TO YOU
