I think they will start working on may files from next month.

They have already started. I saw a May applicant receiving BG in progress last week.

hey friends had a quick question. how long does eligibility check generally take from NDVO? we have submitted enuf documents and photos to prove that our relationship (of 10 years) is genuine. how long do u think they may take to figure that out?

With NDVO its 8 months minimum to complete the file. Eligibility will remain open until everything (background, criminality and medical ) is passed and valid at the time of final decision. Having said that if luck is on your side, some people get file completed anywhere between 4-8 months from the time they filed application at CPC.

Sorry I cannot say. But I can say that they will push to finish files that are already in background check in the first two weeks of december. Send out additional background check over the holiday break so another round of people will get PPRs early to mid January.
