Just a quick question, does the sponsor have to stay within Canada while the application is processing (Filed on Nov 1)? How long can the sponsor stay out of Canada without it affecting the sponsorship.

If someone can kindly let me know.

After PPR when submit passport to VFS Delhi, do they ask for any fee ? If yes then how much it is ?

It's around 600 RS for handling 400 for courier if you want your passport to delivered to your home so it's around 1000 rs.. I called ahmedabad vfs they said I have go to their in person with the copy of the ppr email and original passport and tho photos as per the specification..and it will gonna take around 10 days for stamping...

Well ladies & gents, my ppr arrived this morning as well thankfully. After 5+ years of long distance relationship and suffering the time has come for me and my wife to finally be together.

Feb 8th applicant
DM on NOV 5
PPR on NOV

She will go to chd vfs tomorrow and let us see how long the stamping process takes.

Is it compulsory for sponsor to come india for interview? Cant they take sponsor interview in canada..

its not compulsory. they will call u at the same tym. when interview start.
