Hey My wife got PPR request as well, I guess our applications didn't even need DM's. They went straight to PPR. It's funny how I told you yesterday to have faith in god, he definitely showed us the way..

That's a weird thing but in a good way. I will take that any day (skipping DMs and directly to PPR). All the best for the future

Hello Everyone,

This is in regards to my sister's application..she received DM today on both sides.
My question is she has not received any email and when i click the link that says Decision made, it has the following:

We received ***** application for permanent residence on April 28, 2016.
We started processing ***** application on June 27, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

It does not say anything about decision made in this area:
I really appreciate if someone and if everything seems normal when can i accept to listen any correspondence from CIC?

DM is good and now she needs to wait for PP request. Good luck

Is it compulsory for sponsor to come india for interview? Cant they take sponsor interview in canada..

A quick question to the experience folks in the forum - can there still be any roadblocks after your BGC is updated to "In progress" or is it just the matter of time usually? I dont recall anyone having any roadblocks usually after BGC update. For some lucky ones it is a matter of days and then for some matter of week.

Anybody recall a need of interview, additional document request etc. after BGC update?

fatima... you dont have to go unless it is declared in the email.
I am going because I was planning on going beginning of the Jan, but now I might as well go for the interview date so I can be there in person.
this will also help the wife get some confident.
