GUYS,

A very common mistake many of you might have done is not to look for express entry.
If your spouse is employed, check if she/he is eligible for express entry.
The maximum processing time under express entry is 6 months

Seeing as they are working on Jan-April 2016 files at the moment. I would say anywhere between Feb-August 2017. Hopefully they speed up the system so you are not waiting long.

There is ielts requirement, plus atleast 5 years of work experience and academic requirements to score enough points to be considered for express entry.

INFORMATION regarding Selection Certificate for sponsors residing in QUEBEC.

Hi All,

Not sure how many sponsors are from Quebec. But i found this information recently. Which might be useful to someone.

Sponsors need to get Selection Certificate from Quebec, as one additional step apart from Sponsorship approval.

Previously, they were taking around 25 days to process & give you this selection certificate.

Now they are saying that it will take 3 months times to process & give you a selection certificate.

This is a huge delay in process, from 25 days to 3 months !!
