Hi,

Before I leave this forum, I want to say thanks to you all who have been very supportive to me.
This forum is not less than a family where we all congratulate each other and share sorrows.
I am sharing my detailed timeline:

category: Spouse Sponsorship Outside Canada
VO: New Delhi
APP Filed: 8 April 2016
AOR1: 30 April 2016
SA: 26 May 2016
Sa Letter Received: 13th June
Ecas: Changed to in Process on 3rd July, 3rd line added on 7th July
AOR2: 6th July

I also applied a trv on 19th October and was approved it on 21 within 2 days. I am happy because my wife will travel now on PR instead of a trv.

Thank You All

many congratulations:)

Hello there, I applied for my spouse as per following time line but now it shows only In Process after that. Should we worry and contact CIC regarding the time its taking or are we missing any documents?

Category........: Family Sponsorship
Visa Office......: New Delhi
App. Filed.......: March 21, 2016
Application for sponsoring: April 15,2016
Medical Request: Upfront
Medical Done....: 05-01-2016
Passport Req..: Waiting
Visa Issued : Waiting

This is the timeline and from that time online it says IN PROCESS. We have started worrying now as I can see most of us has got visa who applied near this time line.

Not to worry, they are finally starting to open older files from jan to March. Would help if you did MP inquiry to get the latest news

MP inquiry is when u reach out to the Member of Parliament of your riding (area/constituency) in the city where you live and ask them to find out more about your case and file.

GUYS,

A very common mistake many of you might have done is not to look for express entry.
If your spouse is employed, check if she/he is eligible for express entry.
The maximum processing time under express entry is 6 months
