I am going to india domaro to chennai , they can take long as they want , I do not white see my wife.

My wife currently stays in US and she is been staying (working) here from past 3 years.
However her nationality in India.

1. What country specific checklist should I must follow? Will that be US or India?
2. We are ok to include Supplementary form (SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM - DELHI),
but by doing this, we do not want to confuse CIC which would indicate she stays in India, Which is not the case.

I have asked this question in another forum, they suggest to use USA checklist, this do not ask Foreign Travel information.
Little confuse here.
Can anyone please suggest, if I should include Supplementary Information Form for my spouse?

Technically when you're out of the country (any country) for more than 6 months, then you will be deemed as a non resident of that country, and you will obtain a temporary residence status of the country you moved to. This is despite of your citizenship, which is much different from the resident status.

By that, You probably have to do from US....

My husband has been in nz for 6 Years on a work permit. Our lawyer had put that out file go to Australia has a first option but it still went to India since my husband is a Indian citizen. I know this doesn't directly answer your question but hopefully it gives you somewhat of an idea.

My suggestion is to follow the Indian Checklist but just to be absolutely sure and clear call CIC @ 1-888-242‑2100 and ask the agent. Your spouse is a resident ( H1B Visa) of the US so you will need to provide additional supporting documents for that plus the ones from India as well like PCC. Take some additional time to inquire from the agents and proceed from there. Sometimes they give you information over the phone which might make no sense, so please ask them to email u the same as well.

This my friend is a million dollar question ;), if we all can crack this code, i am sure we will all be getting it in 3-4 months. So to answer your question, none of us know whats happening behind closed walls @ NDVO

I submitted application on 28 april and it was to delhi on 26 july. After 3 months and since that time its just showing checking eligibility process. Don't even know wat to do. And i see people receiving pr who applied around same time( congrats to them).
The timeline which u have quoted is very normal, i have the same time line and my spouse's file is showing the same Eligibility check since the day it reached NDVO, there are no timelines which anyone has shared as to how long this particular step takes but a general rule of thumb is that as long as they need to verify the documents which u have submitted, depending on your city and accessibility to those agencies who have issued those documents for you....

Waiting is the name of the game and some of us have become expert players ;D and some have us have just started playing ;) but in the end, we all wait :'(

this is so frustrationg right now coz no updates since july
