I was able to link my application to My CIC . Application was received on 30 Aug 16 and it show status " Open". What does it mean ? Should i assume my application is accepted ? I do see Application no .

Please advise.

The NDVO Was closed yesterday for Labour day

LoL.. There are many 2015 applicants still waiting in the queue. Don't expect NDVO to process files in order of submission.
Immigration is an complicated process. Hope you get yours soon.
