I Appreciate your opinion.

its not they have not processed anything either - yea there are lot of marriage in Oct-Mar ( but it happens every year ) , and NDVO have processed several files in 2016 which they were not used to do in previous years

which means our files will be processed earlier than regular trend- i hope so :)

Thanks
Hmm

I think waiting a month is good idea - thats what i gonna do.
I will apply in early October.

I am planning to make online application-so that in case NDVO asks for Passport for pr application ,we have passport ready with us

however i am not sure online has better success rate or paper application.
My VO is Chandigarh - and i heard that they are very slow and refusal rate is very high

thanks

Hi,

When we get the PCC done from Delhi police, then do we get an original paper mailed from them or just we have to download the online police clearance certificate issued to us and submit it to the CIC.?

Please anyone let me know!

Thanks

Hi, It was same case for my wife. The PDF that the Delhi Police emails you can be printed out and used. That is the original, as they don't give hard paper copies any more. I would say get it printed in color though as it has the photo on it.

Hi guys, have a question. I had posted earlier that my wife got her TRV and I'm a April 2016 applicant.
If we get a passport request from NDVO while she is here in Canada, is there a way to submit her passport in Canada somewhere ? Has anyone ever inquired or knows about this ?
I read somewhere that they can be submitted to Ottawa.

How to fill IMM 5744E? Confused in section A and C.
Please help!!
what are you confused about ?
Section A will contain your information and Section C will contain information of the person/organization to whom you want to give the authority to get your personal information

@johnybegood - Have you been able to link your application to cic online. I'm asking you because our timelines are very close (18th April 2016 here).
I'm using my wife's account, same one we used for her TRV application. I have tried every trick, putting 1/2 in no. of people in application, playing around with city of birth (actual city is new delhi), using different combination of identification parameters (file no. UCI, DOB) with no luck.
I'm interested coz since she's coming here, wanna make sure all messages from NDVO come to us electronically, even though I know NDVO always communicates via email.

Hey Buddy, we went through the same headache while trying to link our application to the mycic account. After more than hundreds of attempts, we stumbled upon a post in one of the threads which advised to leave the city of birth blank, which is what we tried and it worked for us.

The tricky thing is it won't let you leave the city of birth blank...so make sure you enter a space character in the field and then try to proceed...also don't enter the passport details.

Hope it works for you.

I disagree with "they have processed lot of Nov-Mar Applicant already".

When do most people get married in India (especially north)- October to March .
Avg days to file application-90

So, I assume there would be a load of applications filed in February to April 2016 and many would still be pending (including ours in March :( )

I am of the view that there will lesser number of applications between November-December last year because prior to those were days where marriage usually not happens at least in majority of North India (because of Shraad, Navratrey and Devta's sleeping time) coupled with Christmas and winter break in Canada. So once NDVO clears till October'15 applications they would soon jump onto 2016 ;D

What say guys?

;D Got PPR today :-)

Apr 5 2016 applicant !
