Has anyone checked ECAS with their RRPF Number? I have heard that being able to view your status using RRPF is one of the last steps towards DM.
I wasn't able to view my ECAS with RRPF until about 3 weeks, but now I am. Is this some kind of indication?

Is your receipt number working though?

I am able to see my wife's status using Receipt number for a long time. I think it has nothing to do with DM.

And if you paid for your spouse, (in ECAS) search using your particulars.

Friends,

I am really happy to say that my spouse got approved for TRV (on 2nd attempt). We will be together for Deepavali.

Yay! :)

I think the key to type a Kickass cover letter and invitation letter and attach as much documents to support your claim.
I would recommend you all to try again for TRV.

Glad to hear they are approving TRV more often now. I am going to apply for my wife's TRV soon any tips that you could share on what to mention in invitation letter or cover letter please?

Yes applied in may was refused.

I am as the same timeline as you people. Hopefully we get to see our spouses this year, as CIC has posted the notice on June 23 on the website regarding reducing the backlog. Regarding TRV, my MP sugguested to wait for alteast 6-7 months before applying for TRV, otherwise risk rejection.

Hi im new on this, i applied in may 2016 and on my ecas it says nvdo started processing my application july 18th 2016 after that i did not receive nothing from them, i had to update my husbands address and new passport which i did but they wanted a signed form from my husband that his address has been changed so i did that even but i did not get an email back from them saying they have received the documents and even on ecas the new address has not been updated.

I dont think they need signed letter for address change CSE should be fine.
For me they took around 2 months to update Indian Address, Canadian address can be updated online and usually gets reflected in around 1-2 weeks
