Make sure you collect tons of evidence from marriage, various gifts, events etc. e.g. gift receipts, ceremony events pics, ritual pics etc, ur travel tickets to home, etc...

Also one thing i would like to suggest here is to get her to apply visitor visa before marriage, if she wants to visit you before she gets the PR. She can give any reason other than meeting you while applying for visa (as saying she is visiting her fiance who is a PR might be risky, though some people have got it saying so). Applying for TRV is very risky and in most of the cases leads to rejection. Though many people have got it as well if you provide enough documentation and if u r lucky enough. But why take chances, I would suggest anyone to apply for visitor visa before marriage. My friends have generally given a letter from their friends who are married with children. They show that this family is her relative and she is going to visit them and to visit canada. Hope this helps.

Applying TRV just before marriage and not telling CIC the actual purpose does not guarantee TRV approval , but certainly raises genuine question that why did not you tell the CIC about the real intentions of TRV application when you apply for PR, it may be counted as misrepresentation and/or marriage of convinience

i would suggest apply TRV after marriage and state them the truth , in any case its upto them to approve or refuse TRV but it will not impact the PR application.

Hi, can you tell me exactly when did you apply for trv and how many days it took for visa? Was it paper application or online application? I'm waiting for a response for my wife's trv as well. We submitted a paper application at vfs, ahmedabad on 28 july. It says processing at bangalore.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I had submitted an online application on June 8th and it was approved on 5th August. The application was sent to the NDVO.
