In initial months like Feb to may.... Both 2015 and 2016 files are getting cleared simultaneously... But now only 2015 files are clearing..
Ndvo stopped looking at 2016 files :(

Not really, according to the spread sheet or news from other friends of mine only applicants till Mid march were reviewed and most were issued with PR's in MAY, damn what is the logic lol?? crazy the way this system works....

Hope to see some results on our files by SEPT/early OCT ...............

LETS PLAY SOME GAME HERE --> 2016 applicants:
Jan, feb, mar, apr, MAY(DM's PPR's), jun, jul, aug, sep, OCT(DM's/PPR's???) :-X

CIC received our application on 15 January, and we are still showing in process - since 21 March. So it looks like nothing has been done since 21 March on our file. That's almost 5 months ago now, and 7 months since we applied. Yet, people who applied in March (2 months AFTER us) are showing as decision made on the spreadsheet... and not just a couple so it can't just be extenuating circumstances in those cases... there are a BUNCH! So I am worried our file is lost or something! I can't even link it to my account as every time I put my husband's info, it comes back no files found. I CAN see ecas status but only if I log on with MY info. If I try with my husband's it won't find it. So could our file have been deleted or something??

Read posts that i did a few pages back or read about use of representatives on cic websites

I read your post. So does that mean, I have to cancel the representative to link my application? Is that the only option? If my representative want to link the application and see it, how can he do it? What does the portal check before linking the application. We tried with both accounts (email), mine and my representative's. It doesn't work either.

I just got GCMS notes for my wife's TRV refusal last month.
The reason is:

PA, NO DECLARED DEPENDENT IN INDIA, INTENDING TO VISIT PR SPOUSE, WHOM MARRIED IN 01/2016 AND WHO HAS SUBMITTED FC UNDERTAKING. NO PREVIOUS TRAVEL HISTORY NOTED. ALTOGETHER NOT SATISFIED THAT TIES WOULD MOTIVATE PA'S DEPARTURE FROM CANADA BY THE AUTHORIZED PERIOD IF STAY.

this is not surprising. it's a standard response. what you should do, is apply again declaring all dependents back home. even if they have travel history, they would still reject it, because that's what they want to do, reducing the risk !!!

Safe to do now versus later. Identification of missing document at later stage, may impact your processing time severely.

Sorry but I am reading a lot of posts about "I was able to link my application". Can anyone please tell what is it exactly referring to.
My wife is in India, and I am monitoring her PR progress through "Check application status" link on CIC (applied in april 2016). Is there alternate way of tracking progress?

Hello

I need assistance on one question. I am in process of applying for spouse. I came to Canada in 2013 and I attended program from new comer settlement organization. That program was funded by government as grant. Everyone received money during that program and I got paid 850/month for 3 month. On my 2013 tax return it shows as line no 145 as a social assistance payment. Currently I am working full-time with good job and bank balance. I never got any assistance from government except EI for 1.5 month. Does my 2013 situation make me ineligible to sponsor my spouse? Please help me on it.
