It seems NDVO is cleaning very old and complicated cases.
I saw in 2014 forum that 2 cases where fingerprint scanning and interviews were required, were cleared today.
I hope they come out fast of these cases. in 2015, most of the people have got so I hope they should reach us soon

Going by this trend they should reach 2016 apps within 2 to 3 months max perhaps?
If so, could we expect the Minister's proposed improvements slated for Fall 2016 to take effect soon?

Questions.... so many questions... but no concrete answers...

This is ridiculous. We need to the create that petition, a strong one at that!

Sorry i don't agree with you here.

Canada has given us everything, equal rights everything that a citizen born here get.

just because one system is slow , it does not mean everything is bad or our decisions are wrong

its our choice that we made , i still love the decision that i came here , and proud to be here.

India is good country we born and brought up there, but this country also have given us a lot so deserve equal respect as well

i cannot conclude that if just spouse sponsor process is not fast , then everything is bad

i don't think Canada is foreign land we are PR/Citizens of this country

with all due respect to yourthinking, but sorry i don't agree with it
thanks
I appreciate and i have the same opinion
I love this country as much as i love india

Sorry, i don't mean to hurt your Canadian Pride. I didn't say anything about the country and I never will.
I am not evening blaming their process actually they are doing the right thing. I am just frustrated about MY decision in the past.

Anyways i am just ranting. Ignore me!

Peace out.

don't worry, everything will be good with time.time never remains same, if it is tough time good time will also come, thats the cycle

once we meet our spouses the pain of wait will fly away , i know it hurts when we can do nothing else than waiting waiting and waiting.
but unfortunately it is what it is

best of luck with your application

thanks Johnybegood for offering beer party :)

Decision Made changed to In Process after Landing Interview

Hi there,

Any advice for my case please Lips sealed

I am Inland 2015 applicant with following timeline:
- Mississauga received my application in January 2015
- AOR1 received in March 2015
- SA received in March 2016
- Medical request in April 2016
- AIP received in May 2016
- Landing letter received on June 14, 2016
- Landing appointment took place on Jun 23, 2016

Before we went for landing interview, I checked my status on ECAS and it said "Decision Made". On June 23, 2016 I and my husband came to CIC in Etobicoke and brought requested documents they mentioned on the letter. The officer asked my passport and asked 3 general questions if I have any criminal charge, children, ever removed from Canada? Then, I signed on the COPR.

And I thought she would give me the COPR and said congrats like someone else. After I signed, she hold my COPR and asked us if we bring any documents show our current address. I and my husband show her our driver licenses. She said she needs something else. My husband gave her the letter from CRA and showed her our address is on corner of letter. (3 months ago, CRA sent us the letter and asked us to confirmed the date we married and they will assess our income tax return). Then the officer asked why CRA sent us this letter and she took time to read all of the letter and she asked us if we have anything else to show the current address. We told her we will stop by the near bank and get the bank statement, then come back the interview. After that, the officer came inside and talked with her supervisor. They told us they will contact us later for another appointment and asked us to leave because they did not want to wait.

We went home and waited for hearing back. But nothing until last week, CIC Mississauga emailed me and said our application was transferred to CIC Etobicoke for further assessment Embarrassed That's so weird because in May 2016, they sent me AIP and said my application was complete and CIC Etobicoke will contact me for landing interview. I check my status on ECAS and it changed from Decision Made to In Process... It's speechless!

And now, I'm still waiting for CIC Etobicoke to contact me and I don't know which stage I'm on. I think no one has the situation looks like me.
