My ecas status

We received your application for permanent residence on June 1, 2016.
Medical results have been received

I forgot to update my martial status in CRA when i sent an application.In option C form and in Notice of Assessment it appears single under martial status.
Just updated my Martial Status.

Does it really matters with my application process?

3 2015 applicants got PPR today. Hope they start soon on 2016 files

Yes, hopefully soon. NDVO slowing wasn't a good news for remaining 2016 applicants, but now CIC has also slowed down considerably, which is a bad news for new applicants like us. Let's hope for the best.

It wont make any problems. .there may be lots more proof of relationship u might have sent already

i too did the same. I got SA and the application is in process in eCas

Processing time for trv went up to 30 days from 24....june 16 application submitted online no news yet

This is a 1000+ page thread, can someone explain me the process of sponsoring a spouse. I need this information for my brother. he is a PR and is about to marry soon. The would be spouse is from New Delhi and does not have any Canadian Visa yet. I've read about inland and outland, what ar ethese, also, someone mentooned that the spouse cannot apply for open work permit from outside of Canada in order to get to Canada first and apply inland.

Can someone please give me a short summary of what options are and what the process looks like.

Read through the 1 and second pages.
I heard now a days you can choose to have which vo processing your sponsorship application. ..i mean inland or outland ......which vo is faster.ty

I received AOR1 and i only see 1 line on ecas.

Most people at this stage see 2nd line as medical received and i don't.

Is it normal or am I a special case ??

Did you not provide your email ID in your application? When I had called them last week, they told me I will receive SA or any further communication thru email only as my email is updated with them. Good luck to you too!!!!

I got my AOR 1 thru Email So I am hoping for one. Lets see If I receive it by post will write a letter to them for further communication via email.

i think you should call them and find out, as your timeline is same as mine

I had called them Last week. Will call them tomorrow. Lets see what happens.
