I have passed 55 days for the SA. Had called in last week and they said its in process. So not sure how they are working as long as they keep processing files and are active. Either finishing 2015 and then comming to 2016. would be good too. In this case I see rest of 2016 files opening by December based on spreadsheets of 2015 and 2016. But there are lot more applicant who are not on spreadsheets. I would say spreadsheet is only about 1 to 10% of applicant.

There was going to be a website which was going to open for details of the files and etc. I think for some programs such as work visa or student visa it opened. But for Family sponsor ship it was going to be opened in July.

Does anyone know what has been happening with that.

Yes from July 23 you can link you paper application to online account in CIC.

what is this MP enquiry? and how you do this?

You can contact your local MP (Member of Parliament), and he can do an inquiry on your behalf to CIC.
Since the application is in Canada now, they can even ask CIC to process your application now since the processing time is over.

yes, but I don't think that will provide you a lot of information like GCMS notes

Can`t say anything about it but the account will give you real time status of your application as soon as anything is updated in your file...
