i think the backlog files are mostly people who applied last year and are still waiting. new applicant i think would be anyone who applied from jan or feb as the new family reunification process came into effect march itself

Up to July 2015 applicant dates had to wait for 1 year to get PPR.

So 2016 applicants are lucky. You will guys at most should be processed in 6 to 8 months. And as we saw some already got processed in 2-3 months.

i got my SA yday. application received april 19th and SA june 13th. Now we wait for notification from ndvo!

I just received my SA approval today. Both my Mississauga and Delhi AORs were via email, but the SA approval letter came via regular mail. Notice the difference between date on letter and letter received date. Hopefully yours is on the way soon. When was your application received ?

Hey ghostrider! Is it possible to get aor from visa office before getting sponsor approval. It was supposed to transfer file after SA approval and then get Aor from VO.
