The B4 form is now renumbered to BSF186, that's why the old link is not working. Here is the link with complete landing info with the link to the new form.

Hi Vikram,

we greatly appreciate all the help ur providing us here! i just needed ur opinion on one thing. so me and my wife went for a honeymoon after we submitted our application. So, i havent received my SA yet but iwas thinking to send in the proof of honeymoon thru case specific inquiry once the file transfers to NDVO.

Do you think thats the right way to go about it?

Again, thanks a lot for your help bro!

You're welcome.

Did you include enough proofs with your application? Did you had traditional marriage and included proofs of it in the application? Did you both dated or went on trips together and included proofs of it in the application? What did you respond to the honeymoon question in the application?

Depending on the answers of these questions you can decide whether or not to send them the proof of honeymoon. Generally it is not advisable to send extra proofs without being asked by NDVO, unless you think your application has very less relationship proof or have red flags.

i had a traditional marriage and included all sorts of proof. I also included details abt my trip back to india for the marriage with receipts n all. But i clearly advised them that due to time constraint we did not go for any trips or honeymoon. and that i will be going for that later this year.

And so i finally did go for honeymoon now. Thats why i thought it wud be fair to include the proof coz thats the only thing that was missing in my application.

Thanks for your help.

Have you met your wife before you went to India for your marriage? Had you guys dated or went on trips together before getting married? Did you include proofs of those?

I mean it was an arranged marriage but we are family friends so we have been on trips together 2 years ago. so i included pictures of that and more proofs from the trip. also explained our family history. other communication proof of our contact from past 2 years on fb and text. I thought it was a solid proof to show that we knew each other before marriage.

Also, all the communication after our marriage got arranged. so all that is included as well. Does that help?

To me this seems to be good proofs. I'd suggest not to send honeymoon proof by yourself.
This is just my opinion. Others can add their view.

thanks a lot vikram. I guess i will just wait and see if Ndvo asks for additional proof. or if anyone here suggests otherwise from personal experience.

I'm not much of an expert here... But still I second Vikram. Unless asked by NDVO, I do not recommend to send honeymoon info by yourself. If you would have had mentioned explicitly about your future honeymoon plans in the original application, only then it is advised to send them proof referring to your answer in you original application. Otherwise not recommended.

Good point vineninja. Thanks for adding.
The reason why I say not to send additional proofs by yourself is because I have read many times on this forum that sending additional proofs by yourself will add some delay in your application. Not sure how much of that is true.

On the other hand, you should still send additional documents even without being asked if less proof of relationship are included in the application or if the application has red flags, like met only one week before marriage and didn't do a traditional marriage. In this case if the applicant does traditional marriage after submission of application or went on honeymoon then should definitely send these proofs by themselves. Because in such case you are trying to avoid possible interview as the application has red flags.

In the above case, they were in contact since quite long and looks like they have included the proofs of the same. In the end it's the applicants call.

I just received an SA email from CIC.

My timeline is as follow:

Please add it in the excel sheet.

Hi everyone,

I had a question about the status Application Received on the spreadsheet. Is that when the application gets delivered to Mississauga or do they notify us that the Application is Received because wouldn't the notification be AOR1?

Thanks.
