I think the sponsor receives a letter by mail saying sponsorship approved and file transfered to NVDO.
And spouse receives AOR-2 by Email.

Guys correct me if I am wrong. :)

thanks! T.J

Yup, same thing happened with many ppl so have patience and you should be able to login using sponsor UCI and would see both Sponsor and Applicant details.

Thanks Vikram for answering my question. And Congrats for your visa. Yes you did get the dates right. I just don't want to leave any chance of delay from my side. I hope to hear soon from NDVO.

Thanks goodlife. Hope you get some update soon.

Did you get sponsorship approval yet ?

hi,

My spouse just received his VISA and COPR. I wanted to know the process at immigration. Does he need to fill any forms out in advance?

thank you!

Don't worry. As long as you can access ECAS using one of the login procedures. ECAS is only reliable when it says "Decision Made".
As seen on this forum, some people can't even access their ECAS at all (can't log in using sponsor or applicant info) and they have gotten PPR.

Congratulations!
Your spouse needs to fill in BSF186 form with the list of items being carried. Fill another copy of this form with the list of items that will follow or will be carried in a later trip. It is also good to carry the receipt and photos of the items that will follow or will be carried in later trip, if they want to see them.

B4 and BSF form are the same. It used to be called B4 and now they have renumbered it to BFS186. Below is the link for the form:
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf186-eng.html

For the gold (or any other item) that you'll bring later or will be sent to you, fill another BFS186 form. So basically one form for the items that are with you and another form for the items that you'll bring later or will follow. I'd suggest to list items like electronics, jewelry, etc. irrespective of the cost. No need to list the items like clothes, shoes, cosmetic. If you are not sure weather to list it or not, then just list it. Better to be safe. Also do carry the items which are with you and pictures of items to come in later. They don't generally see it but can.
Also remember you are listing the items which you own. If your parents are sending you something later, it is a gift and you cannot list it (unless you say it is yours).

Typing on computer is better. Replied to your message.

My wife finally received her COPR and Passport from Ottawa today. Ottawa took 3 weeks to stamp and send her passport back. Planning to do flag-poling at rainbow bridge over this weekend. ;D ;D ;D
