The application number is generated at the very first stage. When CPC-M opens your application, they first check for high level completeness of the application, all forms present with signatures, etc. If complete, they’ll create an application number and send an acknowledgement (AOR1) through email (generally) to the sponsor with the application number and the UCI of the sponsor. If there is anything missing, they can send the entire application back or just ask for the missing piece. AOR1 generally takes around 3-4 weeks from the date of application received.

my ecas on the sponsor side cant be accessed using my uci number but i can access it on the applicant side using application number. i see app received and med received. so that means my sponsor approval still hasnt been done right? coz i did not receive any communication from cic regarding anything. thanks

All we can do right now is WAIT... , check the spreadsheet, it seems like they stopped 2016 and doing 2015 but who knows one day we will get that good news and hopefully soon. Hope they send the bulk ppr and dm for 2016 applicants waiting

Yes, your sponsor approval is not there yet. You have to use the UCI of the sponsor with the details of the sponsor to see both sponsor and applicant side. You can use applicant’s UCI with applicant’s details to see the applicant side. Similarly, you can use application number with sponsor’s detail to see both sponsor and applicant side. And use the application number with applicant’s details to see the applicant side.

Answer is YES, so still we need to explain in the box provided or only if answer is NO.

For question 7, asking for the employment details for the past five years. I have worked for past two years and before that I worked part time for a year and before that I was a student for two years. So should I mention till 3 years back from now?

For question 14, has your spouse met any of your friends and family members, should we use additional sheet if that space is not enough or are we allowed to write few names of friends in one box?

For question 7, asking for the employment details for the past five years. I have worked for past two years and before that I worked part time for a year and before that I was a student for two years. So should I mention till 3 years back from now? - Yes, write for past 3 years if you have worked only that much. I don't remember the form exactly, but if it doesn't mention full time or permanent, it is better to enter your part-time job details as well.

For question 14, has your spouse met any of your friends and family members, should we use additional sheet if that space is not enough or are we allowed to write few names of friends in one box? - Use additional sheet if you have more names than rows in that table. Don't put more than 1 name in each box, as you have to provide date, relationship to you etc for each person.

If you answer Yes, you don't have to explain in the box.

Mention the details of three years you were working. Then for 2 years before that, enter another line mentioning 'studying'.

Write only one name in one box. The number of boxes provided in the form are sufficient number of family and friends. If you want to provide more, add an extra sheet.

Last DM/PPR for NDVO applicants was around May 10, and around May 12 John McCullum said that he was going to put additional resources (40+ officers) to middle east for faster processing of privately sponsored syrian refugees.

I don't think it's a coincidence.

Yes, many ppl has experienced the same, so give it about 10-11 days and you should be able to access it.
