Hey Guys!
Someone posted on the first thread of this section that his friend's wife submitted application on 2nd April 2016 and got PPR on 15th May from NDVO.
It seems the new staff NDVO hired is not trained so they are issuing visa without looking for anything .

Hey Vikram's,

Do CIC call center agents have access to PR side of application (one that is processed at ndvo)?

I say because I was told that decision was made on my file yesterday. The agent said that it was about my sponsor eligibility. But it doesnt add up because we got aor2 11 days ago.. and they wouldn't have transferred file without sponsor eligibility.

So, could it be that it was pr application that had decision made? Again, no change in eCAS and no PPR either, and agent did confirm that she was referring to sponsorship eligibility.

But things don't add up here. I'm probably over thinking all of this. :/

Hi deepax,
As far as I know, CIC agents don’t have access to visa office side of the information. I think the agent was indeed referring to sponsor eligibility but mixed up the date. Since you received AOR2 11 days ago, you certainly had sponsor approval before that. You might have already seen that the agents are not very reliable source of information. I can imagine your anxiousness. Hope you receive some update soon.

Alright, so someone is again messing with the spreadsheet....

This post looks like they submitted application for visa and not PR, so generally visitor visas are issued really quickly. So not sure we should look much into it.

I havnt received SA email or confirmation, however received AOR2. [/color]

Any one with same situation with me ? Is it normal ? can some one plz suggest..

This is absolutely normal.

Hi

I wanted to know what the steps are after PPR.

My spouse has received his PPR and submitted the documents. He was told that he will receive his passport back in 10-15 days. Is it done this fast?
Once the PPR is returned does this imply that COPR and visa are granted? Or is there another waiting period to receive Visa and COPR?

thank you!
