Hi Vikram ,Can you tell me if you got AOR 2 from Delhi office or not .Just want to see if people who are getting ppr sooner are getting AOR from NDVO or their cases are getting processed by some other visa office .
Hi Suhavi,

Yes, I got APR2 from NDVO. All the applications processed sooner are being processed at NDVO only.

Many thanks VishalPriya and karankullar for the quick replies!

One more question for the gurus (I am pretty sure the answer is "yes"...but just wanted to double check):

Is is ok to state that my wife's residential address is in Canada if she is in Canada on a visitor visa (multiple entry, valid till 2018)? If yes, is it fair to state that we have been living together in Canada since she arrived after our wedding and honeymoon (e.g. in Q27 of IMM5490)?

Apologies if the above is off-topic...but am hoping someone can shed light on this as we try to fight through the last elements of the form.

Cheers

As far as I know, it is ok to mention that.
But, you have to be careful for the address of the PA. I have seen couple of applications being returned because the address (not sure mailing or residential) of PA was mentioned as in Canada. I'd suggest you check on the below thread:

Guys, my wife got her passport with immigration visa and it is valid for a year(date when your medical expires). :) :) :) :) :)

I would suggest call this number around 8:30am and tell her your problem. She would be able to help you. 91 (11) 4178-2000

Any one who has spreadsheet editing rights, please update my time line for PPT. PPR 0n May 11th, 2016 and got back on May 18th, 2016.

Wish you guys a speedy processing time.

I would suggest you to put her residential address of India. I have read on this website that some one's application was returned because they provided the spouse residential address which is in Canada as she was on visitor visa. I would suggest not to take risk and if you would like to see that post, you would have to search on this website. I will also try to find it out for you. Hope this helps

Hi Dhruvneha,

In forms, provide mailing address and residential address as Canadian address but make sure you make sponsor (PR holder) as uncompensated family/ friend as representative (Meaning fill representative form under principal applicant package).

I did this as my wife is here in canada on visitor visa. Package was successfully accepted and file is now @ NDVO.

Thanks.
